"Make it a good day"
"The choice is mine"
...is the new affirmational shout we give at the end of our Cooperative Games class at school. The class leader calls "Make it a good day" and the kids holler back "The choice is mine!"
I love it!
It reminds me of my own power and ability to change!
I am grateful that I have always had a strong held within me a strong sense of will and determination (sankalpa). When I set my mind to something, it gets done! Looking back, it has been about two weeks since I returned from Satchidananda Ashram. I am still "off" sugar and daily coffee intake. Although I haven't run much (recovering from the flu), I have been consistently working at daily yogic practices of prana, meditation, puja, and asana. I am maintaining equilibrium that allows me to move from my heart at school, and be patient and compassionate with my students. I've even stepped out of the the self-imposed dating exile and started to date again.
No daily coffee, no sugar, lots of yogic practices, getting up early, writing more...working on acceptance... it's all being maintained and I love it!
I am really grateful that I was born with an inherently strong fire inside that can be tamed, but not ever quenched!
