Day 171 - New ol' Friends, Gool ol' Friends

I am grateful for friends! I feel blessed and I love Serendipity. I find it peculiar that I easily make friends, when I get out there and do it. Perhaps not peculiar, it's easy to make friends and meet people. Perhaps just unusual that when I do meet someone with whom I resonate, we hit it off immediately and remain friends for years. I feel really grateful that this has been my experience in life, whereever I have lived! I draw to me awesome girlfriends! Then we are close friends or BFFs forever! (Well, in most cases! and my perspective of "forever" means years.) Rather than people drifting in and out because we don't align, I am somehow able to connect with the right person at the right time, and voila! Lasting, intimate friendships are born.

No if I could only figure out how to transpose this skill into my romantic life...LOL!

Everyone meets online these days, whether through FB, Meet Up Groups or other specific-activity groups. I've met people who have become my dear friends through online workout groups. I've met friends of friends through FB--in fact, I've met random strangers through FB with whom I'm now FB acquaintances. We don't always meet face-to-face, but if their is connection and authentic relating, then friendship blooms and I am gifted with a new friend!

I'm grateful for new friends and fun times!
Austin Classical Guitar Quartet performs with cellist Bion Tsang at an Alamo Drafthouse screening of "The Lodger", Hitchcock's second silent film. This original score was created to accompany the film... incredible sound effects and music! At one point, two of the guitarists were creating sound effects using chopsticks on their guitar, and the result was a perfectly eerily match for the film's scene!
