I have travelled across the ocean
I still have the same smile, but longer hair.
I looked into The Deep to forget you
Yet only wanted to jump in.
Your face reflected onto the waves
Even though there were only stars above;
Just like your picture sits awash in dust
By my lonesome bed.
You sat among sunbeams near the window
But your place is so cold;
Even the sunbeams neglect that spot.
I have saved you a space
Without right, without logic, without reason.
Standing on dry land once more
I instantly miss the ocean.
I wonder if I've landed in the right place
At the right time--
Your memory doesn't seem to be near.
Aeolus's wind will carry me back to The Deep
The only place you exist anymore.
