Varying views of the mountains and road I ride, up and down, down and up! All along the sea, then a shady little pagoda where I can take a rest after 6 miles and 1500 ft. of those fun ups and downs. The screamingly-fun downhills become a very short respite, and seem to last only long enough for me to catch my breath before I begin my oh-so-slow descent back up. Some of the grades are 20%, some 10%, 200 plus feet. I love this particular ride because there is little traffic and the sea is always in view. I can also stop for a short meditation break at the Buddhist Temple!
I end with a satisfying bowl of Kong Guksu, a creamy soybean and noodle served chilled. Yum!
